Zeus is delighted to have acted as Nominated Adviser and Sole Broker to Big Technologies plc on its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on AIM, raising £202 million, achieving a market capitalisation of £577 million. The Placing attracted strong support from high quality institutional shareholders, including a £60 million cornerstone investment from Liontrust Asset Management. Other significant institutional investors in the IPO included Aberdeen Standard Investments, JP Morgan Asset Management, Schroder Investment Management and Chelverton Asset Management.
This deal is the next phase of Big Technologies’ evolution as a global disruptor in the remote monitoring market, with proceeds from the placing releasing liquidity for founders and existing institutional investors, whilst raising £16 million to support the Group’s growth and expansion plans. Big Technologies will be the 2nd largest company (by market capitalisation) admitted to trading on AIM this year, and the 5th largest of all time.
Big Technologies is a supplier of innovative and high-quality products and services in the remote people monitoring market, combining industry-leading hardware and software to create a seamless, unified solution. The platform offers fast, simple access through a secure web-based login for real-time data and analytics on any of the individuals being monitored, and has been designed with high scalability allowing for iterative development and the addition of new technologies through its modular technologies.
