08 Jan 2020

Zeus Capital acted as M&A and Debt Adviser to CBPE on its investment in Perspective Financial Group, following approval from the FCA.

Perspective is a nationwide financial planning and wealth advisory business with a client centric culture, employing over 180 staff across 15 offices. Perspective provides its 18,000 clients with holistic and impartial financial advice to aid them in achieving their investment goals and objectives.

Perspective helps clients who are looking for advice on retirement planning, investment, inheritance tax planning, personal wealth or corporate planning. Through its Cambridge Investments Limited offering, Perspective also offers investment management services to its wealth advisory clients. CBPE is partnering with management, who are all re-investing in the business alongside CBPE. Together they aim to accelerate Perspective’s expansion, combining continued organic growth as well as making acquisitions in what remains a highly fragmented market.

This is the third transaction Zeus Capital has advised CBPE on following the IPO of Xafinity plc in February 2017 and JTC plc in March 2018.

Members of the Zeus Capital team included Martin Green, Pippa Hamnett, Jonathan Broome and Vangelis Livanis.

Zeus Capital is a leading adviser to small and mid-cap private and public companies. Since 2013, Zeus Capital has acted on 139 transactions across public and private markets, which raised a total of £6.2bn.

We are delighted that our client CBPE has concluded its successful investment in Perspective. The investment process was conducted in a competitive environment and reflected strong interest in well established IFAs, such as Perspective. Zeus Capital provided a dual role to CBPE in offering both M&A and debt advisory services. We look forward to supporting CBPE and the Perspective management team, who are also known by Zeus Capital,  as the business continues to grow.
