At the heart of Zeus is a core team of highly experienced individuals who share the company’s founding values of teamwork, determination and creative thinking.
Sir Nigel has been Chairman of Zeus since 2014. As DLA Piper’s Managing Partner between 1996 and 2016, he led the firm’s growth from a UK regional law firm to become the world’s largest global business law firm. Sir Nigel is currently CEO of the publicly listed international law firm, DWF. He has also served as High Sheriff of Greater London, is Chairman of Sheffield City Region LEP and is a Council Member for The Prince’s Trust.
Richard has over 30 years’ corporate finance experience including IPOs, equity capital raising and M&A for both public and private companies. He was one of the founders of Boohoo and acted as a non-executive director for 7 years. He is also a shareholder and director of numerous private companies operating across a range of sectors. Richard is a Director of Zeus.
Nick joined Zeus in 2004. Over the past 18 years, he has built extensive knowledge and experience of the UK Equity Markets and is an expert in advising companies looking to IPO and has been directly involved in raising over £5 billion of equity for growth companies.
Nick is a trusted adviser to a number of PLC Boards and has advised on over 50 successful flotations and led many high-profile public takeovers and M&A transactions.
Tremayne joined Zeus in 2010 and has over 25 years’ experience advising public and private companies as well as private equity investors across a range of transactions, including IPOs, public-takeovers and M&A. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and prior to joining Zeus he was an M&A partner at EY.
Andrew joined Zeus in 2011 and has over 25 years’ experience as an advisor to public and private companies. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained with PWC, and prior to joining Zeus he was Head of Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations for Drax plc.
Graeme joined* the Zeus Board as Deputy Chair in 2024. He enjoyed 20 successful years with Brewin Dolphin PLC, where he built and led its respected, consistently profitable UK corporate advisory and broking (CA&B) business. Graeme was a Group Board member from 2007 to 2011 before completing the Alantra-backed MBO of the CA&B business and coordinating the subsequent merger with Singer Capital Markets. Graeme has since worked in leadership roles with Numis and Canaccord.

Our team
Steve joined Zeus in 2023 with over 20 years’ experience trading global equity markets. He has a wealth of knowledge in making markets in the small-midcap space and dealing with the retail platforms. Steve worked as a trader in New York and then returned to the UK market, working for a number of UK brokers. He joined finnCap in 2014 and was responsible for establishing the market making desk, growing it to 5 market makers and a significant player in small cap market making.
Dan joined Zeus in 2014 after 7 years at WH Ireland, having a qualified as a corporate lawyer in 1999. He has 12+ years’ experience as an AIM Qualified Executive.
Dan has advised on numerous public and private company deals, covering AIM IPOs, secondary fundraisings, public company takeovers and private M&A transactions.
David joined Zeus in July 2021. He has over 20 years' experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Zeus, David worked for Walkers Global, Liberum Capital and RCM (part of Allianz Global Investors).
Dan started his career in the back office doing the checking at Kyte Securities in 2001. Once qualified he then went on to work at WH Ireland for over 20 years managing and trading for a wide variety of HNW and Institutional clients.
John began his career as an equity research analyst in the City in 2002 and has worked for TD Waterhouse, Altium Securities, WH Ireland and Zeus during this time. As an analyst, he has covered a wide range of businesses and sectors and has been ranked on several occasions in the prestigious StarMine analyst awards, as well as leading a team to win the ‘Best Research’ category at the high-profile AIM Awards. John was appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Zeus following the acquisition of the WH Ireland Capital Markets Division in 2024.
Claire Duffy joined Zeus in June 2015 and has over 20 years’ experience working with research teams in the financial services sector. Prior to joining Zeus, Claire worked for Daniel Stewart, Numis and Charterhouse Securities.
David joined Zeus in 2020 and has 20 years corporate finance experience having advised on numerous public and private company deals, albeit now specialising in IPOs, public company fundraisings and takeovers. He has been an AIM Market Qualified Executive for more than 12 years (having previously worked at Cantor Fitzgerald and Seymour Pierce) and is a member of the QCA’s Primary Markets Expert Group. David qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002, working at BDO and then Baker Tilly (now RSM).
Stephen has over 40 years of experience executing Equity & Bond orders in the UK and across International markets on an agency basis for Institutional clients.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Andy is an experienced Equity Analyst and Fund Manager, joining Zeus Capital in May 2013 as an Equity Analyst covering General Industrials, support services and special situations. After gaining a postgraduate degree in finance, he joined a leading Pan-European long short equity hedge fund. After six years investing in large cap Pan-European equities, Andy went on to manage a small and mid cap Global Growth Fund. During his time at Zeus he has been the lead Analyst on many of Zeus’ high profile IPOs.
Kerry joined Zeus in 2015 and has worked in the financial services sector for over 16 years. Kerry holds a CIPD qualification and a certificate in Mental Health First Aid. Prior to working at Zeus, Kerry worked for Canaccord Genuity and Singer Capital Markets.
Dominic has been a key member of the corporate broking team since joining Zeus in June 2013. Dominic was one of the founders of Arden Partners in 2002 and post their IPO he joined GIL Investments, the private equity vehicle of the late David Grove OBE before returning to Arden as Head of Corporate Broking. Prior to this he was head of the Birmingham operations of Old Mutual Securities having been a partner at Albert E Sharp after leaving university.
Paul joined Zeus in February 2016. He has experience working with privately owned and plc management teams and investors across various sectors planning investment, M&A, IPO and exit strategies. Paul heads Zeus' REACH project team, working with the wider business community to identify opportunities, he helps Zeus build relationships with a range of prospective corporate clients. Paul has worked on the successful IPOs of Strix Group and Revolution Beauty, £30m investment into Gousto, Acquisition of Klaas Puul for Sykes Seafood and refinancing of Pure Cremation among others.
Bandna joined Zeus in February 2024. Banda is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant with over 10 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Zeus, Bandna worked at Henderson Park; having previously worked in Corporate Finance at La Francaise Group.
Katy qualified as a corporate lawyer at Pinsent Masons; before moving to Cobbetts LLP and then to WH Ireland where she was General Counsel and an CF Director. At Zeus, Katy acts predominantly as an adviser to AIM companies on IPOs (both domestic and overseas), secondary fundraisings and Code transactions; and also in giving day to day Nomad advice. She has an MBA from Leeds University and a Masters of Mining Engineering from Camborne School of Mines.
Hugh Morgan has 30+ years investment banking experience having worked at Hoare Govett, Chemical Bank, HSBC, UBS, Panmure Gordon, where he was Co-Head of Investment Banking and Shore Capital. More recently he was Head of Corporate Finance at WH Ireland. His experience spans international and domestic UK ECM and M&A roles for both large and small corporate clients. Hugh is a Chartered Accountant and read PPE at Lincoln College, Oxford.
Previously Managing Director of Jefferies ECM, Benjamin joined Zeus in November 2013. He has considerable investment banking experience across Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and M&A focused on European growth companies. He has been involved in many of the technology IPOs in the London market over the last decade.
Nick joined Zeus in 2021 having over 25 years’ of Capital Markets experience in equity sales, trading and fund management. For the last 15 years Nick has been a dedicated UK Small.Mid Cap companies specialist. Nick has executed a number of IPOs and secondary equity placing facilitated by his deep long term institutional, hedge fund and family office relationships. Previously Nick has worked at Cenkos, Investec, Evolution, Nomura and Pictet Asset Management. Nick also hosts our hugely successful ‘A Different Perspective’ podcast.
Rupert joined Zeus in 2017 and has over 27 years of experience in UK Mid and Small Cap Equities. He has worked on numerous IPOs, secondary equity issues and advises both long-only and hedge fund clients. Previously Rupert worked at Credit Lyonnais Laing, RW Baird, Canaccord Genuity and Macquarie.
Caspar joined Zeus in 2021 to help establish and lead our new investment management offering. He brings extensive, and somewhat unique, experience and expertise derived over c30 years within the UK Equities investment arena, including senior roles on both the buy and sell side at leading firms including Merrill Lynch, Cazenove and Standard Life Investments. In particular, over a decade running institutional and retail funds, he delivered persistent top decile returns and was Citywire AAA rated.
