This week Nick talks to Gary Robinson
Gary is an Investment Manager in the US Equity Growth Team at Baillie Gifford. He joined the firm in 2003 and became a Partner in 2019. Before joining the US Equity Growth Team in 2008, he worked across the Japanese, UK and European Equity teams. A generalist investor, Gary has a particular interest in healthcare. He holds an MBiochem in Biochemistry from Oxford University.
Nick and Gary discuss Gary’s career at Baillie Gifford, the firm’s long-term approach to growth investing and the development of the US Growth Trust. They cover investing across public and private markets, including SpaceX, Anthropic, OpenAI and Databricks, as well as the growth of AI and its impact on businesses.
