Zeus is pleased to announce the following appointments:
Darren Ellis has joined as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is based in the London office. Darren previously held a similar position at Canaccord Genuity in Europe with responsibility for Securities, Investment Banking and Wealth Management. Prior to that he was Finance Director of Bridgewell Securities.
In November, Mike Cuthbert and Martin Green will join as Co-Heads of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), a new growth sector for Zeus. They were previously at Canaccord Genuity where Mike was a Managing Director of Financials within Equity Sales and Martin was a Managing Director within Corporate Finance. Pippa Underwood and Robin Savage, also previously with Canaccord Genuity, will join as part of this team, as a Director of Corporate Finance and as Research Director respectively, specialising in Financials.
James Murdoch will join Zeus as Head of Institutional Sales Trading. James has spent much of his career at Hoare Govett and UBS before moving to Arden Partners.
Mike Seabrook will join Zeus as a Director of Equity Sales. Mike was Head of Small Cap Sales at Panmure Gordon. Mike started his career in corporate finance.
Hugh Kingsmill Moore joins Zeus as Head of Sustainable Technology and Power Sales. Hugh has spent 20 years in the City at various broking houses including Greig Middleton, Nomura Code, Royal Bank of Canada and Mirabaud.
Rory Codd started his career at Numis Securities followed by Investec, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and, most recently, the William Currie Group. Rory will focus on Mergers and Acquisitions.
