Zeus Capital has underlined its strong recent performance by claiming a pair of awards at The Rainmaker Awards 2015.
Following another successful year for IPOs and fundraisings, including the completion of listings for BCA Marketplace, Epwin Group, entu and Quantum Pharma, the firm retained the Corporate Finance Team of the Year award it won in 2014.
In addition, Zeus Capital founder Richard Hughes won the headline ‘Rainmaker of the Year’ award — designed to recognise the region’s outstanding corporate finance professional. Like the Corporate Finance Team Award, it was the second year in a row that Zeus has claimed the title, demonstrating the firm’s consistency and strength.
Richard Hughes, founder of Zeus Capital, said: “These awards are a result of a great team effort by everyone in the business. In a highly competitive marketplace, to be consistently rewarded for our efforts is extremely pleasing.
“We’ve had a fantastic year, completing both huge deals like BCA, and smaller deals of significance like the fundraisings for 4d pharma, which has seen its shares increase nine-fold. Our pipeline is strong at present and we’re confident of another successful year.”
