Zeus Capital and Zeus Renewables supported sustainable energy company CH4e through the development of their business leading to a £3 million equity fundraise. This will allow CH4e to commence rollout of modular, small-scale anaerobic digestionplants throughout the UK.
Zeus Renewables, a Manchester based advisory firm that offers a range of services to therenewable energy sector, provided strategic and financial assistance to CH4e. Followingthe completion of this work Zeus Capital supported CH4e’s long term development partner IP Group in a successful £3 million fundraise.The funding will be used for the installation and commercialisation of CH4e’s new Anaerobic Digestion (“AD”) system and to progress projects in the delivery pipeline.The fundraising follows the successful development of an innovative, modular, smallscale AD system designed to unlock the latent energy in stranded organic waste sources,such as those found within arable and dairy farms.
Andy Currie, Director, commented;
“Anaerobic digestion is a long established technology, but has always struggled to capitalise on feedstock supplies which are localized and small-scale. CH4e’s new business modelcan utilize these sources while still being cost effective. We all look forward to the future development of CH4e”.
