MANCHESTER-based corporate finance advisory firm Zeus Capital has advised Arcis Biotechnology on its second round of fundraising which has seen it secure further capital from its existing shareholders and also from a new network of private investors. In December 2010 Zeus Capital secured Arcis’ first round of funding.
Arcis, which produces a suite of environmentally-compatible cleaning and germ-killing products for a diverse range of markets and applications, is already in discussions with several global companies who are keen to utilise its proprietary technology. The company is based at Daresbury Innovation Centre, Warrington.
Ross Andrews, director at Zeus Capital, said: “Over the past 12 months Zeus Capital has continued to build its relationship with Arcis and the opportunities for the company continue to develop. It is going to be an exciting period for Arcis and we are delighted to be part of this opportunity.”
The Zeus Capital team comprised Ross Andrews, Tom Rowley and Paul Horrocks. Karen Procter and Kelly Harvey from Shoosmiths provided the legal advice.
